Soyuz MS-13 is scheduled to undock with three members of the International Space Station’s Expedition 61 crew — Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Skvortsov, NASA astronaut Christina Koch and European Space Agency astronaut Luca Parmitano.
Koch is taking the spot of NASA astronaut Drew Morgan, who launched to the ISS aboard Soyuz MS-13. Koch launched to the ISS aboard Soyuz MS-12 in March 2019 and was granted an extended stay to Feb. 6, 2020.
Morgan will return to Earth aboard Soyuz MS-15 in April 2020. Upon the undocking of Soyuz MS-13 from the Poisk module, Expedition 61 will formally end and Expedition 62 will begin.
The first part of Expedition 62 will consist of Morgan, NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka. An additional three or four members are expected to arrive on the first operational flight of a Commercial Crew vehicle. It will be either a Boeing CST-100 Starliner or SpaceX Crew Dragon.
