After about five months at the International Space Station, the four-person Crew-10 Dragon mission is returning to Earth.
Aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Endeavour are NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Michael Fincke, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Russian cosmonaut Oleg Platonov.
The four were originally expected to return to Earth in late February. However, a “medical situation” prompted NASA to have them return early so that the astronaut (not disclosed for privacy reasons) can get medical treatment on Earth.
Splashdown is expected to occur in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California.
