After several months attached to the International Space Station, Northrop Grumman’s NG-24 Cygnus cargo spacecraft is expected to depart the outpost with thousands of pounds of trash and unneeded equipment.
After departure, the uncrewed cargo ship will be commanded to reenter Earth’s atmosphere, burning up on reentry.
