Soyuz MS-27 undocking, landing

After about eight months aboard the International Space Station, Russia’s Soyuz MS-27 three-person crew is expected to return to Earth.

Aboard will be Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky, and NASA astronaut Jonny Kim. They are slated to return via a parachute-assisted touchdown on the Kazakh Steppe in Kazakhstan.

Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft are designed to remain in space for more than 200 days.
