Russia is expected to launch Soyuz MS-28 with three people to the International Space Station for an eight-month stay aboard the outpost as part of Expedition 73 and 74.
Flying aboard are Russian cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikayev, as well as NASA astronaut Christopher Williams.
Launch will occur atop a Soyuz 2.1a rocket from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Docking with the space station’s Rassvet module is expected a few hours later.
